Sehat Kendra in college to create awareness among youth about AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases, family planning and birth control methods, mental well-being etc. The college spares no effort in ensuring the well-being of its students & staff members and recognizes its responsibilities towards providing timely medical assistance to the students, staff and faculty members. The health centre is also intended to create awareness about Covid-appropriate behaviour, gender equality, HIV, AIDS and blood donation.
The Medical facilities provided by Sehat Kendra, Kisan College, Sohsarai, Nalanda included First Aid, Aid Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar monitoring, all the medicines that one may need in case of minor illness, Wheelchair, Bed & Weighting Machine, Sanitary pad vending machines are also available.
Dr. Shyam Sunder Prasad on campus is available weekly to cater to students, staff and faculty members who report minor health related issues and are promptly attended to as per the needs. In Case of emergency, the patient is provided with initial first aid if needed and then immediately taken to the nearest hospital for further treatment by Medical Volunteers.
